![]() ![]() ![]() One of the tutorials is a step-by-step guide to creating and animating a gingerbread character. Not sure if you know any of that, you probably do but I thought it may be worth a mention.Īlso, are you a member of the CG Cookie forum? If not then I would thoroughly reccomend it as its a great place to meet friends who are Blender artists and get help if you are stuck. There are 45 Blender tutorials available at the time of writing. I used this method last night to create a bird cage by taking half of a sphere and deleting the faces, then converting it to a path and turning the res and bevel up so the edges turned into the cage bars and were already shaped to the cage shape I wanted. Alternatively you can convert any edge into a path in object mode with alt+c Its pretty easy to manipulate a path in 3-d space so i use them a lot. The wires were just a path with the resolution and bevel turned up to give thickness. ![]() And the tutorial was for BR but I had already modelled it when I noticed so I just decided to finish the tutorial and push through. Its designed so that anyone can go from being a complete beginner of Blender, to having a basic understanding and creating their first scene. Yeh, I have never used BR before, only cycles. ![]()
